Gears of War + Transformers logos, logo crossover in photoshop

Soooo....I was bored today while my two little girls were sleeping...and my gf as well lol...so I decided to play in photoshop.

Two of my favourite things at the moment are Gears of War and the transformers.

My gamertag on xbox360 is DeceptiCog72283 and I've always wanted to make a gears of war logo mixed with a decepticon logo. I've searched the web a few times and was never able to find anythnig.

So i made my own lol.

please keep in mind, this is pretty much my first venture with photoshop outside of car modifying and making basic sigs, putting together a bunch of pics.

Took a picture very similar to this one:

i then proceeded to invert the colours to make it black logo on white background.

and then took this picture:

overlayed it on the gears logo. Used some fading and blending as well as some cutting

and ended up with this:

I am quite pleased with it, it almost looks like its supposed to be like that.

PS: the little flowery design in the lower corner is my "mark", i use it in just about everything I do in photoshop, see my sig, in the lil circle where the "registered" logo would be, lil flowery design thing. I don't take credit for the design of it, its actually from wingdings 2 font lol.

haha...thats true lol...i didn't want to risk my gamertag being taken, so unless somebody else had the same gamertag with same birthday, i figured it was a sureshot LOL
