So I've finally finished setting up my diecast shelf in my office, and I've also recently gotten more kidrobot and other vinyl toys, so those cabinets have been re-organised as well. Took some pics today when I finished.

The diecast shelf is a mixture of brands - mostly Jada, Johnny Lightning, Hot Wheels, & Maisto with a couple from Malibu International, MotorMax and one Muscle Machine thrown in. This is all my premium stuff - opening hoods, detailed interiors, rubber tires, etc. The next mission will be to build another shelf or two the same as this one and put up all my regular Hot Wheels and Matchbox, which are currently packed away.

On top of the cabinet are Mighty Muggs from Hasbro, top shelf is the Jabba's Palace set from the Galactic Heroes line of toys by Hasbro also. Bottom two shelves are Kidrobot stuff, including a special Christmas dunny and some Adult Swim characters.

On top of this cabinet is a big plush Domokun. Top shelf has some Chub City figures from Jada, a couple Hasbro super heroes, a Stickfas, and a couple Tech Deck Dudes. Bottom two shelves are mixed Kidrobot, TokiDoki and Strangeco figs.

And the last few toys on top of my monitors. In the acrylic showcase is one of a run of 972 pieces, the first piece produced by Kustomcity, a limited run, high quality collector's diecast company. The LEGO Skywalker figure is something I had my eye on forever at Toys R Us but it was far too expensive ($95) - I finally snagged it on clearance for $30!! I'm both a LEGO (who'd have guessed...) and Star Wars fan, so this fits into my collection beautifully.

I'd still really like to get a glass shelved and doored curio cabinet with a light on top to display more stuff, I've still got some regular Star Wars action figures, and a couple LEGO sets (an X-Wing and some mechs) and of course the collecting will continue...

nah, I'm not really into transformers. I also try to stay away from collecting bigger stuff, for both size & price reasons (although the kidrobot stuff is 8-10 bucks a pop, still).

Initially I only intended to have Boba Fett, but then I picked up Han when they were on sale once, my wife got the ESB Luke (hard to find) for me for my b-day, and I just had to get Chewi when i finally found him to go with Han.. but that's it!

update for the vinyl display cabinets...

A couple on the bottom shelf of the second cabinet are my wife's, not mine. I keep telling her soon I will have to give her her own display area.
