Just seeing if anybody's read this 7 volume series.

I'm currently halfway through Volume 2... God I hate reading books, lol.

But it's a good story, I really enjoyed (the LSD enduced) Volume 1, lol.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through Volume 3.

It's actually very good right now, but I just haven't been giving myself the time to plow through the rest of this book. The third book really has that "Lord of the rings" feel to it, as the band of characters make their way to the Dark Tower through the post-apocalyptic world. It's like Mad Max meets Lord of the Rings meets The Dollars Trilogy.

I should read more on the bus ride to and from work, but it just makes me fall asleep, lol.

The third Hard Cover graphic novel (Dark Tower: Treachery) is already out, which I still need to get. I also haven't read the first 2 Graphic Novel volumes either.

After I get through volume 4 of the actual novels though, I'll have to start hunting for the final 3 books since I don't own those yet.

I managaed to read a few more pages on the bus this morning, lol. I think I only have about 150 pages to go (it's a 500+ page book).

Roland, Eddie & Susannah are off to rescue Jake from a diseased old pedophile named Gasher as they're trying to make their way to Blain the Train in the city of Lud.

It's getting hood, I'm at the point where they survived teh ride in Blaine The train and they're now in an alternate Universe Topeka Kansas where there's a bit of "The Stand" cross over. Everyone in Topeka is dead as a result of Captain Tripps (The plague that wiped out the world in The Stand). The reason they're in Topeka now is that Roland's world is merging with other worlds because the Dark Tower is failing (The dark tower is like teh nexus of all realities).
