Dammit, Rob got short-sipped on Iron Man comics.

No War Machine for me.

He said he should be getting the rest of his order next week.. I freakin hope so, or else I'll be stuck with a 2nd printing. Grrrr.

Yeah second printings come with a different cover.

It's just like with Novels, 1st editions are "worth" more. And by worth, I just mean generally saught after.

Been getting my books every other week now. So here it goes

Secret Invasion #6 - This was a really good read. Things are getting climatic in this one now. Really good read, make sure to watch the MLB playoff opener for the secret invasion "Embrace Change" commerical. Know I'll be watchin evn though the jays will be playin golf.

Cable: King Size - I just took this off my sub cuz I am getting tired of this story. I dunno if it was a good idea but anyways... Good read, and the baby is getting bigger. Thought is that cable is running around with his mother. He is his own grandpa....remember the movie "the Stupids"

Deadpool #1 - Was very happy that Deadpool is back out. Of course this is just the beginning of the story, but still I am sure there will be alot of frantic, thrown together stories....but still its deadpool.

I havent read the others but they are new releases.

X - Men : Magneto Testament - Gonna be a pre bed time snack...

Finally I picked up Stephen Kings, The Stand... Seen bits and peices of the Movie. Never seen the whole thing and havent read the book. Still its gonna be great, the art is all creepy. I am looking forward to it.

Actually no. I'm not a hardcore completist and I absolutely refuse to buy variant covers. I don't like the idea of buying multiple copies of teh same comic book, lol.

Mike Perkins' art is phenominal. :D

I am, however, not buying The Stand in seperate issues. I am rather collecting the Marvel Stephen King Adaptations in Hard Cover format.

I'll be getting Dark Tower: Long Road Home in HC for my Birthday. I already have Dark Tower: Gunslinger Born in HC (which I still haven't read, slowly plowing through the novels right now).

Dark Tower: Treachery and The Stand: Captain Tripps should be coming out in HC roughly around the same time.. probably mid-summer next year.

Funny thing about the series is i first saw the stand while in co oping at a comicbook shop. Ahh those were the days....

anyways it was an OK read.

Seriously though you got any thoughts on the Secret Invasion? I always thought the Fantastic were more Gaytastic before Sue died and Reed was all aggro about it. Thor and Nick Fury are great to see again!

I dunno. I don't have much thoughts about SI. It's ok I guess. Can't wait for it to be over though. I didn't get swept up in all the hype, I just pick up the SI series to keep updated. I'm skipping out on the Tie-Ins.

It wasn't bad!!!

Sean felt it was overly salty, but for an energy drink, that's usually the norm.

Flavour was good... not really enough in the can - only 250ml - I guess I'm used to seeing those giant energy drink cans everywhere now.

I looked for it at 3 Hot Topics in the states, and they prettymuch looked at me like I was nuts - they didn't have it, nor had any of them had it in the past, or was going to be getting it in the future.

I got mine at the Comic Book Shoppe on Bank St. Har.

The Warcraft Legends was actually pretty cool! It's by Tokyopop, so it's basically an illustrated novel (Manga/ B&W). It has 4 short stories in it, and they're all based in the MMO game world. It works good since I know about WoW, but I think that anyone who wanted to pick it up and didn't know much about it wouldn't have too hard of a time keeping up and enjoying it :)

Ended up getting

deadpool 2
runaways 2
X men Lagecy

Still got a pile to get though, didnt want to buy them all til pay day.

So I got

secret invasion what ever one I am on.
Runaways/Young Avengers
X-Men: Return of Magik - This is tieing in with X-Infurnius, which is the counter release to the noir series.
Thunderbolts whatever number I am on
And X-force 6 or is it 7

Other then that I stopped getting cable, still regreting it but 30 some odd dollars ever two weeks is about my limit these days for comic books...

Deadpool was great I really liked it. Skrulls lack personality, deadpool is nuts. Great combination.

Runaways is going kinda slow right now. New writers, new artists. Dunno if it will be as good as Dead End Kids 1 - 6 was but who knows

Lagecy was pretty good too. Going to keep reading, love how the professor is going through all his drama. Also liking Scott taking on his role as the leader of the X-men.
